為激發大學生學習英語的興趣，服務國家戰略發展，擔當鑄魂育人使命，由中國外文局亞太傳播中心（人民中國雜誌社、中國報道雜誌社）主辦的“2022年‘中外傳播杯’全國大學生英語寫作大賽於今年9月至12月舉行。賽事面向國內外高校全日制在校生，旨在高規格的賽事中，發現和培養更多的英語能力卓越的人才。我院英語專業學子積極參加比賽，在老師的指導下獲得全國二等獎一名、三等獎两名、優秀獎四名。

本次大賽吸引了971所高校學子報名參賽，覆蓋清華大學、北京大學、南開大學、吉林大學、天津大學等多所雙一流高校。

Thanks to the City University of Macau for providing us with a platform to exercise and improve our ability, and thanks for the professional guidance from my teacher! I’m very glad to have achieved such a good result, and I will also use this opportunity to work harder than before, because I’m fully aware of my shortcomings that need to be promoted. 曾啟月Carey:

I am very happy and honored to be awarded the award. I won this award thanks to the cultivation and encouragement of the school and teachers. The honor of winning is an affirmation of my study, and it is also an encouragement for future studies. As long as I go through my own efforts and pursuits, everything will definitely be rewarded. Whether it is a big return or a small return, it will be the driving force for me to move forward in the future.

王子玉Yuki:

At first, I am appreciated to City University of Macau for providing me with an excellent platform to learn English, which also laid a good foundation for me to win this award. I am especially grateful to my instructor: Asst. Prof. William Wei Xu. This award is inseparable from his patient guidance and careful cultivation of me. Through this competition, I not only broadened my horizons, but also enhanced my English writing skills. It is only when you are pursued that you become swift. I am very honoured to have won the Excellence Award in the "Sino-foreign Communication Cup" National Student English Writing Competition. I have a great passion for writing so I signed up and got prepared for it as soon as I saw the competition announcement. Under the instruction of Jessie, my English teacher, I have refined my essay many times. I was surprised to win this prize. Though it's not my ideal result, I’m going to be more passionate about writing and participate in writing competitions actively to practice myself.

朱子墨Asher:

I am a sophomore student in the Class B of English Program. I feel honored to have won the prize.
