On the afternoon of August 29, 2019, Beijing time, Marianne Müller, President of IAAP, announced at the 21st International Conference on Analytical Psychology in Vienna, Austria that China Society for Analytical Psychology (CSAP) was formally established. The chairman is Professor Shen He-yong, Dean of the Institute of Analytical Psychology of our university.

Since 1998, led by Professor Shen He-yong, the 1st International conference of Analytical Psychology & Chinese Culture was held in Guangzhou. Jung's Analytical Psychology took root in China. Up to now, eight International conference of Analytical Psychology & Chinese Culture have been held in succession, and the ninth International International conference of Analytical Psychology & Chinese Culture is in preparation. Several chairmen of IAAP and ISST have made it clear that the International conference of Analytical Psychology & Chinese Culture (1998-2018) held in China has not only promoted the development of Jungian Analytical Psychology and Sandplay Therapy in China, but also made great contributions to the world development of Analytical Psychology and Sandplay Therapy, and the international influence of Chinese culture.
