On March 24th, 2024, Professor Wang Shoudong, a renowned Chinese medicine expert and doctoral supervisor, was invited to deliver a fascinating lecture titled “The Art of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and Its Global Dissemination” to the students and faculty members of the Cultural Industry Management program at the City University of Macau. Professor Kong Fanqing, Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the City University of Macau, attended the lecture, which was hosted by Professor Wang Zhong, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Professor Wang Shoudong combined his extensive research findings to introduce the innovative development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the field of modern medicine. He noted that with the continuous advancement of scientific research and technology, TCM has demonstrated increasingly significant advantages in disease prevention and treatment, as well as health maintenance. These achievements have garnered widespread attention and recognition from the international community.

During the lecture, Professor Wang Shoudong frequently interacted with the audience. He invited students to the stage to experience acupuncture firsthand, allowing them to feel the charm of Chinese medicine directly. He also patiently answered questions from the audience about TCM.
