The 5th City Cup English Public Speaking Competition of the City University of Macau (CityU) took place at the Ho Yin Convention Centre on the Taipa campus. This year's edition themed at "Macao Matters" drew students across various disciplines to participate as a significant annual event. A total of 12 contestants made finalists, running up for the first, second and other awards. Prof Jun Liu, Rector of CityU, Prof Jin Lixian, Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Director Mak Ngan Leng, head of General Education Department, and other University leaders, presented at the event and provided guidance to the students.
