◆ Programme Features

Pre-University (PreU) Studies Programme is designed for those who want to well prepare for entering the undergraduate degree programmes. The duration of PreU studies programme at City University of Macau is one year, and the curriculum consists of general courses such as Chinese, English Language (reading, writing, listening and oral), Mathematics and Computer, as well as Preliminary Psychology, Guidance for University Life and a series of special topics. Pre-University study will help students to experience the university life in advance, establish a solid foundation for their future studies. Diversified activities and lectures, outward bound, education visiting etc. are also included. All of the above aims to develop their own independent thinking and creativity ability, foster their critical thinking, innovation and improve the comprehensive ability among students.

◆ Objectives

Once students finish the programme through achieving qualifying score(s) in all subjects,

- will be getting ready for university life;

- will be awarded a certificate of completion of Pre-University Studies Programme and students can choose to apply via "Direct Admission" for undergraduate degree programmes at City University of Macau;

- recommendation letter can be offered for those who want to study overseas.
