▼Course Introduction

This course will take political economy as the theoretical background, and the research orientation presents the following three characteristics: First, the integrity, that is, the cultural economy and political, social and cultural life as one; the second is historical, that is, pay close attention to culture. The long-term changes and balance of the role of the state, the role of the company and the role of the media in the industry; the third is to transcend the concerns of traditional cultural economics such as “efficiency” and to focus on the basics of cultural industries such as justice, fairness and public good. Moral and ethical issues.

This Ph.D. program will adopt a political economics research perspective. The research methods focus on the paradigms and requirements of political science, sociology, anthropology, and cultural studies, and shape research paths and research that are different from economics and management. method.

 

▼ Training Objectives

This course is designed to cultivate senior research talents in the cultural industry. Graduates will master the systematic theoretical knowledge and research methods of the cultural industry, and have the professionalism and ability to engage in cultural industry research. At the practical level, graduates will have the ability to engage in cultural industry policy analysis, cultural enterprise development strategy formulation and analysis.

Graduates will be qualified to undertake teaching and scientific research in universities and research institutes, policy research and cultural administration in government departments, and management and consulting work in enterprises or non-profit organizations.
